i am in the middle off building restoring an xs 205 and wheel wise i am thiking minitites?

has anyone got there pug sitting on these, any pics?

and i no the 4 x 108 is the same as ford but the centre bore is different aint it?

That Mk1 escort is great, reminds me when i had my K reg yellow Mk1 in 2003.

 

Not for the 205 imo also.

 

Do you like the SL434's ? To me they are a little similar to the Minilites and better suited to the 205 shape/style.

205's are too boxy really, but I did see a S1 106 that suited them once.

There are some superlites for sale on ebay at the moment that the bloke had fitted to his 205 and on one of the pictures you can see them fitted to it. Those paticular ones look lost in the arches IMO.

With rallye arches maybe like that one as they're squared off, but with GTi arches or just base model, i don't think it'd look that great!

there was a topic a while ago in which someone posted a photobucket picture but, having just had a look, the p/bucket link no longer works

 

i thought they looked ok myself - the wheels aren't too different a design (both being 8 spoke) - maybe the Speedlines were even inspired by the minilights?!
