Mpg Or Rather Miles Per Money

what miles should a 1.9 cat get per 20 quid i always used to think ten miles for every quid but the prices have gone up so much lately seems im struggling to get 120 miles for every 20 quid is that about right [mostly town driving] do the catalysts do worse or better? also does it make much difference if the wires go on wrong on speakers can anyone hear the difference?

Once you've wired all your speakers in phase, your MPG should improve markedly.

Miles per £20 doesn't mean an awful lot, but my CAT 1.9 does (or did before the HG went) between 27mpg (town driving) up to 40mpg (looooong motorway cruises) I generally used to average between 29mpg and 30.5mpg for my normal driving (ie. heavy right foot most of the time)

on my mi16 i put in £30 of juice a couple of weeks back at around 1.05 a litre, it did about 185 miles to it, i think iroughly worked it out to be 25ish MPG, around town mostly, its a standad mi with a 1.6 box. when we went to the ring mid last yr it returned 30mpg all day long, was amazed at it!!! since then hav "fiddled" with air flow meter so not quite as good!!

as for the speakers if you get the postives the wrong way round you may find that the bass is very poor sounding, just replace all the speaker cables with something better and that way you can make sure they are all correct.
