Battery Warning Light

If anyone can help my battery warning light comes on when i brake hard or go round a corner fast. The earths look ok but i haven't properly checked. any ideas would appreciated

Are you sure its not the brake fluid warning light thats coming on?

Sounds to me like the single, thin wire that attaches to your alternator is either loosely attached or it's trapped somewhere, and the movement of the engine under those conditions breaks the connection.

 

I suspect the fault is either at the alternator connection itself, or more probably in the crappy brown (and perhaps corroded) brown multiplug somewhere near your gearbox.

 

Clean that connector up, or replace it entirely as it's linked to sooooooooo many similar problems it's untrue. ;)

no its definity the battery light. thanks the advise ill have a look at the weekend hopefully it will solve it
