Steering Gone Twitchy?

when mine went, it was stiff/loose/stiff/etc - the uj obv. has two planes of movement and alternates between these as the steering's run from lock-to-lock. not a massive job to disconnect and diagnose with certainty, anyway

 

should be cheap s/h. think i had several 'spare', but almost certain they've all gone now
