Remote Central Locking

well i discovered i have the means to have remote central locking , my car kept locking itself while driving along , no big deal till you get out and leave the keys in , and you guessed it locked me out luckily we had some wire coathangers and managed pull the button up after much bending and cursing ,,,,,seems water is getting in throught the sunroof handle bolts that go through the glass and shorting the central locking sensor thats next to the map light .. anyways ive got a key with a transponder in it does anyone know how to syncronise it to the sensor , [i know how vauxhalls work just ign on then press the button] cheers

They're only compatible with each other in a matched pair, you can't change anything to make one work with another.

oh well glad i only paid a quid for it, seems they fetch a fortune on ebay.. it is a daft luxury anyway just a bit handy if the locks frozen .
