You'll need spacers to use ET40 rims, especially if they are 7" wide.

Also the centre bore of the Ford alloys is smaller iirc so they wouldn't fit onto your hubs anyway.

Surely if he's going to need spacers the centre bore wont be an issue??

It will if he gets hubcentric spacers for a peugeot.

im confused are you talking about genuine for alloys or ford fitment alloys here ^^^.as i had a set of oz turismos and they were ford fitment.and never had any issues with the cenre bore .but they were the wrong offset

they are 4x108 so they should go straight on just need spacers

Not if they have the wrong centre bore still.

It's not a problem anyway as you can buy Ford to Peugeot spacers.

Ford use 63.4mm centre bore, Peugeot 65.1mm.

Both, genuine or aftermarket Ford fitment alloys have the wrong offset but aftermarket alloys might not have the problem with different bore sizes, I'll have to check the OZ super turismos which were fitted to my 306 when I bought it & see but they had 20mm spacers fitted which would've fixed the size difference anyway..
