Rallyvan 0 Posted February 16, 2010 The car is a 205 diesel van but has got a 306 td engine in it, not sure what springs to get? I want it sitting low but not rediculous, any recommendations?
swordfish210 20 Posted February 16, 2010 With some -40mm GTI springs you will probably see a -50mm drop due to the extra weight. As for what springs i would go for the Eibach springs, they're a bit more expensive than others but you're paying for the quality.
Anthony 1,002 Posted February 16, 2010 To give you some idea, a set of standard GTi springs lowered my STDT by about 25mm or so.
pug_ham 243 3 Cars Posted February 16, 2010 To give you some idea, a set of standard GTi springs lowered my STDT by about 25mm or so. As above & later swapped to 309 GTI springs which dropped it another ~10mm. I wouldn't fit any lowered GTI springs to a diesel if you want a sensible ride height. Graham.
