Bx Clocks/speedo

Ive always wanted Bx clocks as I knew they were green as opposed to he standard orange but never seen any until:

http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=115455

Anyone know if Bx 8v and 16v clocks are the same?

Did they change between phases?

Did the 16v ever get the later 2 litre iron block like the 405 did?

Where is the oil level sensor situated on the block? (according to this its next to the gearbox, near the bottom of he block, not sure if its the front or back though http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl...%3Den%26sa%3DG)

Did the 405 have an oil level sensor and the facility to show oil level like the BX?

Thanks

BX 16v's always had the proper Alloy block 1.9 Mi's. :)

Yes, the 405 also had the oil level sensor, which is at the back of the block, between the sump an ex. manifold.

I thing only 16v has got 2 in 1 gauge (oil pressure and oil level), maybe i'm wrong...

8v has got red revs at 6500 rpm and 16v at 7000 rpm

from up to down 1 +12V

2 oil level

3 oil level

you must swap 2 wires on standard gti clocks, because bx clocks has got a diagnostic light at different position. If you don't swap it, it will light a low thickness of pads )
