I bought finally clutch and lifters last year. And now I have 3 week hollyday so I started with engine rebuild... crank and bearings are good, but rod bearing on cylinder 3 is after death :angry:

new crank and rod bearings and now it´s ready to swap...

main (crank) bearnigs screws with thread for fitting windage tray :)

some news.

Mi16 still waiting for transplantation. Clutch was worn, so I used mi16 clutch and flywheel on XU9JAZ. I alsow change the gearbox ( from xsara 1.8 16v it's close to gti16 gear ratio) and new clutch cable
