T3 Turbo - 300hp?

No, I went for the s16 pistons and rods because they have a floating gudgeon pin, so it was easier to seperate the pistons and rods so I could skim the pistons!

As for the CR, I've just looked up some figures for the combustion chamber of a gti6 head (37.2cc sound about right?) I don't know the cc of the pistons, won't be much, they are flat tops with valve cutouts and I don't know if the head has ever been skimmed, I doubt it has, and went for 1.2mm compressed head gasket (is this right for a standard mls gasket?) and it's around 10.1:1, just a rough calculation, I'm not 100% sure of all the figures anymore!

Edit - Got the CR wrong, corrected!

In my opinion a Garrett T3 from a Ford is outdated (and overrated)

A Gt28rs will get you to you to the power you'd like but there are cheaper alternatives to consider

OEM turbos from (recent) 4 cylinders engines (Subaru?), or a Holset Turbo like a hx27-30 should be fine.

I bought a T3 with a .63 turbine housing and a 60 trim compressor wheel in the end (around the beginning of last month!), it's now sitting in a box in my bedroom, which is where it's going to be for a long time probably!
