Heater Plug

Iv been messin with the dash today and then a while later i came to start the car and no heater plug light came on the dash, after some amount of cursing, I started to mess with the wires around the steering column and the light suddenly came on the dash, im asuming this is a loose conection, can any1 tell me where this is likley to be?

Any help appreciated.
