Recommended Posts

I have a 205van on a 'K' and was originally had a 1.8 straight diesel but now had the 306td engine. I am wanting the gti dash in so i can have a temp gauge, rev gauge etc. Could i make this work?

STDT's (and possibly other TD models) had a GTi-esq dash as standard, but without the oil pressure and oil temp gauges. I think I still have mine around here somewhere if you're interested in it?

No reason why you couldn't get a GTi dash to work, although you'd really want a TD rev counter on there. Obviously there's no sensors on the engine for the oil pressure gauge or oil temperature, so you'd need to add them, and you'll need the matching wiring between the dash and fusebox too I'd imagine.

Right i see, if i were to get that dash how would i go about wiring the rev gauge and temp gauge up?

(sorry if these seem simple questions but when it comes to wiring im lost)

Do like it did when I put the 4 dial instrument pack in the CJ and get the whole loom and then its plug and play. If you get one from the breakers when you take it out its all self explanitary all the plugs at fusebox end are shaped so you can't do it wrong.
