First, has anyone got a rough eye to eye length for a 309 beam running on a 205 if I want a 30mm drop. obviously it's going to vary from car to car but it would be nice to have somewhere to start. The 205 length is well documented but I can't find a figure for a 309 beam....

and also, what bushes are people running on their rear beam, is it really all about solid mounts? How crashy are they really? And where are people buying from?

Cheers,

Adam.

P.S. sell me your 1.9 hubs and driveshafts!

305mm between shock centers is about right for 30mm lower, assuming you're running the standard 20mm bars.

I personally don't find Group A solid mounts crashy at all, and indeed generally little difference in NVH over the standard rubber bushes. I've got the original design of the Baker Bushes (BBM) Group A mounts which were basically a copy of the PTS items - the newer version that Stew sells are a better design.
