Mi 16 Cam Covers

hi all, nearing the end of putting my mi16 engine back in the 205 but after having the cylinder head cleaned and putting back together i snapped the head off one of the bolts that hold the actual cam shaft down. my question is does anyone know the part number for those bolts or the actual name of the bolt so i have some sort of hope when i go to pug to pick some up. thanks in advance guys

How on earth did you snap one? They aren't mean to be torqued up very tight at all, and normally round off very easily

 

They are available from Peugeot and they're not very much money, but I will warn you to be careful - I know that the part number on the Parts CD and atleast on older versions of Servicebox was wrong for 1.9 Mi16's! In the end I ordered 2.0 Mi16 bolts (exactly the same part, but were listed with a different part number!) which came in correctly.

got abiy carried away chatting to a friend whilst putting everything back together , so il should just ask for a part to suit the 2.0l iron block?

Yes, Mi16 and S16 heads are the same and please! torque it down to specified spec!
