Get your local head place to fit K-Line inserts. Unless it's a turbo or a race car, the inserts will be fine.

I bought them at local Pug dealer cca 2 yrs ago, price was 70EUR for a set of 8. For 20EUR more You can get custom ones at local machine shop over here.

Cheers

The only aftermarket guides I've seen were cast iron and weren't machined correctly for the stem seal. So I sent them back. I hope nobody else ever uses them! In your case I'd just fork out the cash for Peugeot oversize guides and do the job properly.

K-line inserts are superb. I know engine builders that prefer them to using totally new guides because of the extra lubrication given to the valve stem so helping slow down any wear occuring again. I've used them a number of times on high performance builds, highly recommended IMO

It seems that exhaust valve guides for xu9j4/xu10j4/xu10j4te can't be bought at Peugeot.

I found this

http://www.enginestuff.co.uk/product_info....oducts_id/60784

Anybody ever bought something from this site??

Also there are bronze valve guides listed at hiflowheads at 6.75 pounds each.

Anybody had experience with hiflowhead's guides?
