Sub Frames

Does anyone know if a passenger seat sub frame is the same as the drivers?

 

I.E can I fit a passenger sub frame to a drivers seat and fit? Alternatively, will a passenger seat (and frame) fit in the drivers space? Can seat belt buckle be swapped over?

 

Looking for a cheap GTi or XS drivers seat (for a temp fix) and I've found a drivers seat and passenger sub frame local!!

Basically yes you can, just swap all the bits over to the right side, inc the seat lift handle.

 

I used incidentally an XS seat frame and it was a good like new fit, not sure if it was because of it being an XS frame or not. The seat

that was on it was in a right state compared to my GTi ph2 seat.
