Brake disks Just wondering if the hubs are the same fitment as the gti6 I may as well get the brakes and hubs if they are I have a set of 1.9 shafts as I know the 1.6 ones won't fit Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Anthony 1,002 Posted February 3, 2010 As far as I know late XSi 16v's had GTi-6 style hollow cast hubs, but earlier XSi 8v's had normal solid cast hubs. They're both the same fitment as such and will match with 1.9 driveshafts fine - just double check the balljoint is the smaller 16mm variety as per 205's, as some 306's had larger 18mm balljoints on them. If you're running 205 wishbones, you'll potentially have camber issues with 306 hubs. Another option is using 205 base model hubs with your existing 1.6 driveshafts, which will give you the correct offset to run all the usual brake conversions (inc 306 XSi) that fit with 1.9 hubs.
