Hi all been looking in to a conversion on my 205, i have looked about for a half decent mi but they all seemed to be taken , so i started looking at alternatives. not looking in to turbocharged, trying to keep normal aspiration. what sort of mods am i looking at for a 306 gti6 or even the xsi lump. are there any major mods i will need to make to the engine mounts , im doing this all at home so i would like a conversion that does not require loads and loads of bespoke engineering to the car.

any ideas??

As you can imagine these sort of questions are asked all the time, your best off searching through old topics, as this will provide you with all the information you need.

There should be a fair bit of info in the about converting to a 6 lump, You have 3 options tilt the engine, use modified manifolds or cut and weld the bulk head to allow enough room for the exhaust manifold.
