Mi16 Cambelt Tensioners

Recommended Posts

When I came to change the tensioners whilst changing my 1.9 mi cambelt

the front tensioner bolt appears to be seized. The tensioner appears to be fine

so I have left it alone for the moment. Does anyone have experience of this?

They can be awkward to get out with the engine in the car, if they are the original tensioner bolts that have a shallow allen key head. The replacement bolt from Peugeot has a 13mm hex head which is much easier to get hold of.
