This is the route i plan to take, iv had to re route the system because i am using the 205 header tank rather than the 306 one (built into the rad), all seems ok to me just needs to be checked over as i may have missed something.

The pipe that i have highlighted in red is the one that goes to the oil cooler housing, do u guys think that it would be easy enough to 'T' into the bottem rad hose? If not any ideas.

Any help appeciated.

Why not just use as much of the standard 205 TD engine hoses as possible, that way you'd include the ones to the oil / water heat exchanger without any extra T pieces.

When I did the TD conversion I plumb it to standard gti rad, don't know if it was overheating or not since temp gauge didn't work and it lasted 6 months and I think it was the same like on your picture.

Why don't you, like said above use the same setup like 205 td since they are basically the same engines.

hello, i ran a 306 Dturbo enigine in my old Gti, just plumbed in the water hoses same as the 205 had them.

On another note the Gti radiator was useless when cruising on the motorway and always got real hot, fitted the 205 Dturbo radiator and was good, was about twice the size of the gti radiator and more than twice the cost !!!

good luck
