Hi,please forgive my probably already answered questions but im new to the 205 scene,me and my mate are currently converting a 1988 205 gti 1.6 to a 1.9 which my mate is currently rebuilding.Im just ordering some gaz gha coilovers from the group buy an im a bit unsure about spring rating and length. The car will be used for bit of weekend driving and quite a few trackdays.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you wouldn't go far wrong with 200lb 9in springs, with helpers possibly for full droop. PTS (peugeot talbot sport) gravel is 185 [9 or 10"], tar 225 (i think) [9"] to give you an idea.

Depends what rear bars you're going to run.

Try a search.

Went for 180lb 9" myself when I got my Gaz's. Been very happy with my selection ever since. I was told at the time the standard springs are around 100lb which helped me decide.
