Top Eng Mount Clearance

i cant find the post i saw yesterday on the top mount and shimming it up if to big a gap , it seems like the gap is all at the front rubber on mine should i lever the engine forward and shim the rear mount or just shim the front as it is ,, should there be any gap at all. cheers

Did you search first? There's countless threads on this, a very good one recently!

 

Doesn't make too much odds though in summary, although many prefer to space the rear buffer to take up the space.

yes searched top engine mount no thread with that title came up if theres no gap will it vibrate more at tickover though .

Yes a little, won't be that bad with standard mounts though.
