Recommended Posts

danny56712

i have a 205 night navigation car and need to rise it a little as i travel very poor ground. in having said this i need good handling and have no big money to spend.

So what is recomended i have thought 306 petrol and diesal shocks n springs or 205 diesel ones but not sure of the rise...

The engine WAS in the car then. Post number 1 is engine in, post number 4 is engine out.

When it wasn't in the car I could fit my head between the arch and wheel.

Quality measuring device! Never work in a zoo as a dentist for lions and crocodiles!

306 GTI6 or DTurbo are probably your best bet for cheap firmness and rise. No point going taller if they just bounce more

SPGTi

I used to run on my 205 GTi road rally car on std shocks with 309GTi springs and GRpN rubbers this gave a firmer ride and about an extra 10-15mm ride height.

Hi, i wanted to bring the front up on my 205 so i got some gravel spec rally springs off ebay as they are rally springs they are stiff so body roll is

reduced but ride height stay standard. Shocks alone won't adjust your ride height and diesel springs woun't give you the handling you want. Hope this helps!
