Can You Buy New Sun Roof Deflector Shield

Hi i have a slight problem wiht my L reg 1.9 205 gti in the fact that it had an electric sunroof fitted by peugeot dealer that has an external electric pump for the sunroof. It used to be protected form the elements by a sunroof deflector shield but this departed some years ago when a HGV passed me on the fosse way on a very windy night.. The car is part way through a complete restoration and am desperately looking for details of the sunroof shield. The sunroof is as per the optional extras form a dealer fit not manufacturer... any help or guidance is appreciated...

 

 

 

oh... I have tried standard deflectors form 205s and 309s but none fit.... its doing my head in....

Look on the pump or the rails or the glass to see who made it (Britax, Webasto etc) as they may be your only source. It may have been dealer fitted, but as a retrofit. If the standard ones don't fit then it is not a Peugeot item that has been fitted

I've got a sunroof deflector shield that fits the factory sunroof set up.

Is the dealer that fitted it still in business? If so ring them and see if they know anything

I will look tomorrow but I think it was a britax.... I checked with peugeot when i found an extras catalogue about a year ago and they told me at the dealer that it was discontinued. Simes was the deflector from a sunroof that was electric or a standard sunroof???

There is a Britax Dealer around North London, they repaired a mates windy version of this, I;ve also got a electric one here at the moment but all is good thankfully.
