1.9gti Rear Brake Compensator Valves

Hi,

 

Can anyone help with which way round these valves should be fitted?

 

m12 connecter at one end and m10 at the other.

 

Which goes toways the master cylinder and which towards the rear wheel?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The larger M12 side is the inlet which the pipe from the master cylinder fits into & the M10 is the outlet to the caliper.
