Air Flow Meter Question

Hi all

 

Quick question, Theres a brand new Bosch air flow meter knocking round at work at the moment but knowone seems to know what it fits. The 10 digit number on it is 0 280 202 082. I checked the number on my 1.9 gti but it ends in 109.

Does the 1.6 gti have the same AFM as the 1.9? if not does any one know the number of it?

According to Mr Google, thats a BMW one.

 

I think the 1.6 AFM ends in 056 from memory doesn't it??

no they don't, a 1.6 gti AFM ends in 056

320i 2 litre (6 cyl) 83-91

 

325i/iX 2.5 litre (6 cyl) 86-93

 

525i 2.5 litre (6 cyl) 88-91

 

Z1 2.5 litre (6 cyl) 88-91.

 

may well be used on other engines too.
