Lost 5th And Reverse

I think the selector arm was dropped while taking the pin out now i cant get 5th or reverse. anyone know whats wrong how to rectify?

Take the selector arm back off and use a screwdriver through the hole.

 

Push the arm down and up and move it around until it 'clicks' into place, you may have to manipulate the other lever. Make sure it doesn't slip down again! It may take a few attempts as I had the same problem on a mates car.

 

Lightly sand the arm and lever and apply a little bit of grease and it should slide on without trouble.

 

If that fails you can take the diff cover off and put your finger in and you'll feel the lever, just push it up like mentioned before until it clicks.

 

 

I managed to do it without removing the cover, it is possible!
