306 Tarmac Rear Bilsteins

Recommended Posts

Just a quickie, I was weighing up my options on dampers for the rear of my 205 and came across a few people fitting the 306 tarmac spec billies. Has anyone had experience with them? My car has 23mm torsion bars and weighs approx 920kg so will they be a good choice?

I'm currently using the 205/309 tarmac billies but might sell them, and change to the higher rate (600/300?) 306 items if they're not OTT.

I've used them , and have a set of nearly new ones for sale starngely enough . They are a good upgrade over teh 205 ones , you may want to rest your ride height afterwards as they tend to lift it about 5-8 mm

I use them on my roadgoing/ghillclimb spec car. It's a good upgrade imo. Makes for a very stiff back end though which is good for competing but can be a bit harsh for the road.
