Green Cotton Air Filter

I've been having a look around the green cotton website and I am struggling to find the correct filter...

 

Does anybody have one or conveniently know which one it is out the following?

 

BC822893 Kit Car 2 £107.50

DC822893 Kit Car 3 £107.50

K200-75 S16 Cup (6-speed) 2 £47.97

PC822893 Kit Car 1 £107.50

P5000 S16 Cup (5-speed) 2 £63.94

P6000 S16 Cup (6-speed) 2 £83.74

 

I'm guessing one of the 6-speed ones, but why are they listed as a S16 engine?

 

Just to state again it's for a GTI6 engine.

 

And I would like to get rid of the 90 degree long elbow; which leads up to the TB from the air filter. Would this require a different filter or is there one that fits directly.

It's a tad tight with the top rad hose but I will be modding this to give a better fit.

They list it as S16 because its only a GTI6 in the UK, I believe they all come with an adapter of some sort to connect to the ICV pipe if they are to suit the standard intake, some of the ones listed will not be.

 

the list you have there is the Motorsport one, so you would need to contact green fro any descriptions or pictures as none are shown,

 

The P188 seems to be the closest one I found that could be used as its intended for a non-ABS car and has the air filter behind the headlamp and has a shaped hose to circumvent the top hose.

I guess you'll be waiting a long time for a Green cotton filter too. I had to wait nearly 6 weeks for mine for my 205 due to it coming from France and Green cocking up the delivery. Worth the wait though.

you'd probably have got it far quicker than 6 weeks if you'd ordered from Green UK....

you would think...

 

BC822893 etc will not fit on the standard cars - they are for the fancy carbon airboxes... I would say all you have listed are competition filters and not a direct fit.

the induction kit for the gti-6 is P333 (abs version), P188 (non abs)

P333 seems to sit right where the top hose hoes, so I didn't feel the need to add it
