hcmini1989 16 Posted January 16, 2010 right im in the middle of fiiting a roll cage only the back half .just wondering about the mounting plats ive ordered some steel plates cut to the right size . now do i cut the floor out and weld the peice in or do i just weld it over the floor allso are the bolts supposed to run right the way through the floor to outside the car or should i weld nuts onto the plate .ive done a search and seen a few people with the captive nuts on the plates so wich is the best way .its a track car not going to be doing any events .
