Oil Catch Tank Suggestions

Hi guys, im looking for an oil catch tank to go between the oil filler and the inlet track on my 205. Ive found a few universal fitment ones, but wonder if anybody makes a specific 205 gti one?

have a search mate, there are some posts about them.

 

i'm pretty sure there is a company who make stainless ones, but cant remember the website.

stu, you couldnt take a picture of how you have piped it up/mounted it could you mate?

Very clean engine bay btw!

Yeah no probs mate, ill get some pics later on tonight for you, i had to make a bracket to mount it to the inner wing, but other than that it was fairly simple to get it plumbed up. :)

Hi Stu could you pm me the same as I'm having probs with my catch tank on my MI with carbs, using a plastic bottle at the mo cable tied in with the breather from the oil filler jammed in the top, doesn't look pretty but quite practical.

Here you go fellas...

 

The bracket was made just by folding a bit of ally i had knocking around, it was a bit out so i had to pack the one corner B)

Piping is simple enough, just runs one from the top of the filler and cam cover..

I relocated the filler pot to here, just used a bit of bar with to M8 nuts welded onto either end and used the old mounting points on each bit but with the bar inbetween to space it across to clear the carbs. Then got a bit of pipe to run back to the sump and used a bit of heater pipe to extend the other block vent..

I *think* it was from that ebay link posted higher up mate, it came from ebay, might not have been that guy but it was that tank and i think a similar amount of money?
