Solid Disks?

Recommended Posts

cheesegrater

Hi all,

I was in my local car shop today and noticed some very cheap (reduced) Red Dot grooved disks that claimed to fit ALL 205's. Would I be correct in assuming these wouldn't fit on the front of my GTi? Seeing as they are vented and wider. Or would they fit on the rear axle?

Cheers,

Tom.

They will not fit the front. They may fit the rear if they are indeed rear discs. if they are for the front of a base model 205 then they won't fit your solid rear discs.

OK thanks for clearing that up, I'll have to check whether they are for front or rear but I'm pretty sure they'll be fronts. Oh well thought it was too good :)

I belive the rear discs are thinner than the base model solid front discs.

They are thinner & a different offset iirc so the front discs won't fit on the back properly.

Graham.
