Gti 6 Into 205 Exhaust Spacer

Recommended Posts

richardjw

Hi Guys, need some help finding a website...

I saw a site advertising an angled spacer to allow the GTi 6 Exhaust to be fitted to the 205 without the standard cut and shut work.

Any ideas?????

Trying to sort out all the bits before setting off down the build road....

I'm thinking of picture 'blogging' the build to put onto the web as a reference to all those thinging of doind the same.... :P

you'll still need to alter the 205's downpipe to fit, all the plate allows is fitment of the gti6 manifold to an Mi16 head with it sitting on its standard mountings and not having to modify the bulkhead, it is not intended for a gti6 head, the manifold is a lot longer than the cast 8 valve version so you will need to do some cutting and welding.

Miles will adjust the angle of your Manifiold to suit on an exchange basis I believe ;)

I was going to say all that but the cba. I figured the OP might work it out for himself using the info in the link. ;)

I know I will be biased but I;ve never liked the Spacer idea as it give's too many joins at the manifold and hence why having both options open to me I've gone the Re-angle route of the manifold itself as I think it's a better idea,

Drop me a PM if you want any info

Hi Miles how much are the GTI-6 conversion manifolds you have in stock? I have a good clean manifold for exchange if it makes it cheaper
