Tyre Size On 1.9 Wheels

I know the 1.9 205 gti alloys originally come with 185/55 r15's but ive got a set of 4 new 195/45 15's just sat here.

 

 

I was wondering if anyone has fitted the 45 profile to these wheels as my concern is that the lack of side wall profile and the additional width of the tyre might make them look abit bellied out an flat?

 

pics would be great if anyone has done this tyre size with these wheels

pretty sure 195/45/15 is more common now than the ones you have.

Heres mine with 195/45's, the ride is a little harsh, better off getting 195/50's imo, cheaper too!

well 4 x pradas in 195/45 r15 cost me 2 hours work so thats cheap enough for me.

 

i know they are rubbinsh in the wet so i will probably chew through them quick and get some 50 profile eventually
