Vtr Engine

is it possible to use a 1600 vtr short motor with a 1360 xs head and therefore retain the carb, and make a 1600cc gt (carb engine)

 

 

ive heard various reports about high compressions, but not a lot of facts.

 

or will the carb and manifolds , distributor (and camshaft if its any better) fit on the 1600 vtr head thanks

Your manifold and cam wont fit the vtr head. The Vtr head is much better than a xs head. You could try pick up a cheap manifold to run your vtr engine on weber or bike carbs. there is a few other things to do to allow A injection engine to run with carbs.

The question has been asked many times before try searching and vtr engine transplant has been done a few times by other members to.
