Which Manifold For Mi16 In 205

Recommended Posts

Just planning which manifold to put in my 205 when i put the new engine in. I would like one of the 4-2-1 ones rather than the standard type which i have. The engine will be tilted on grp N mounts. I have looked at the pugracing one, the spoox one and the pugparts ones. They all look very similar but vary greatly in price. Which one is best or should I have one made up by local engineers?

Cheers Steve

I would un tilt the engine for a start, as thats a bodge imo, no need to tilt the engine. You can get the standard one reangled to clear the bulkhead which is fine, but if you do want a 4 branch then i would speak to Miles (pugracing) as i've only ever heard good things about his manifolds, wouldnt like to comment on anything made by spoox.

Sorry, thought the engine is referred to as 'tilted' as standard, as far as i understood 'untilting' it was the bodge done by lengthening the bottom mount fork? Anyway, to clarify it will be mounted at the standard angle ;)

Cheers, will have a look into Miles' ones

Miles

They are all the same but I don't add 300% mark up on them,

Pugspares with it's new owner does have another source as well but the design is 99% the same
