My 1.9 Gti Has Problems?

hi.. i bought the car a couple of weeks ago, it is a 1.9 with cbr600 carbs..and apart from it feeling unerpowered it ran fine and i had no problems with it until a couple of days ago..

 

1st: it split the coolant pipe from the back of the engine.

 

2nd: is loosing water since then but not from that pipe as far as i can tell.

 

3rd: as of last night it decided not to start and again this morning.. you can hear the relay and fuel pump but it makes no attempt to turn the engine over... it will bump start though!?

 

anybody got any ideas... would be much appreciated. thanks..

yeah it has got anti freeze in it..

Mine does 3 a lot but if i keep turning the key it does eventually turn over. There is a fix for it somewhere if you search.

problem diagnosed.. just give my starter motor a few wacks with the trusty hammer and it fired up..

 

just have to keep my eye on it and also the water loss situation!
