hi i gave vosa my chassis no and engine no and what i thought was my model code xu9 jaz ive forgotten where i got that code from but is it correct for a sept 92 1.9 ?? vosa have said theres no match in the service book so it will be tested as a pre cat if ive told them the right code.. yippee i,d better print that out to show the grease monkeys when i take it ,[when its thawed out]

you gave him the VIN, you can enter that into servicebox to find most of the characteristics of a vehicle, DKZ is the engine code.

would that dkz be the code the mot ers would have used to look in the emmision service book or would they use the engine number or the xu9jaz code .. darn it fed up of worrying about the impending mot

same question here sorry for repeating but im goiung for retsest tomorrow have the dkz engine code cars have they dkz as 6 7 8th letters or dk2 need to know thanks just in case this rover cat hasnt lowered my levels ta

Do you know how I can find a cars information on Servicebox, is it on one page or do I need to go through components seperately (e.g. engine) to see what comes up for it?

 

I thought my car was a 1989 but looking at the tech specs here the VIN is from 1992-1996. Having trouble tracing its history because it was imported from Germany to Holland.
