Samco 205 1.9 Gti 8v Kits.

Hi forum members,

As above im thinking of buying a new set of samco hoses for my standard 1.9 gti.

Im thinking while the engines out replace the old ones with these.

Just a quick one to get some feedback of what you feel about these.

Im getting a full hose kit in black for £170 brand new?

I've had a Samco kit for about 9 years and it's fine.

The only piece you could never get by them was the small elbow joint which I think Stew does.

 

I wish I'd got mine in black.

One of the worst companies I've had to deal with, They wouldn't send me a picture of a hose to confirm fitment and had no idea themselves, Good customer service there!!

I'd replace with the original pug ones or similar. They last ages and as they are softer they seal better.

 

(I do have a full BBM set on, they are well made and good value. But if I had to replace again I would go with OE spec).

i like the look of them but not the price!

still if you can get them at mates rates go for it
