pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted January 5, 2010 after reading the thread about using a xsara rack and pas, it got me wondering if i should fit pas to mine. ideally it would be saxo electric pump, but what rack is a direct fit (obviously mine is non pas) i did have a search but couldn't really find any info, if anyone can shed some light..maybe a post i have missed? is there a guide or anything? DrSarty 90 1 Cars Posted January 5, 2010 Well a 205 one would be a direct fit. The specific attraction of the Xsara VTS Mk I rack is a mere 2.4 turns lock to lock.
Baz 421 Posted January 5, 2010 A direct fit would be a 205/309 PAS one as DrS says, drops from 3.9 turns to 3.2, so a small reduction, but it's very worth it, and no hassle.
pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) sorry i think the niccoret patches are affecting my brain capacity last night, of course a 205 one will be the best option is there alot of 205 models equiped with pas? would it be a case of swapping the rack and fitting a leccy pump instead of the pulley driven type? i mean are all the connectors the same.
