pablo 0 Posted January 4, 2010 As above really are they ok? £22 for a headlight and £6 for an indicator isnt too bad and should refresh up the front end nicely. Are they ok though? Thanks.

dale205mills 39 7 Cars Posted January 4, 2010 Make sure you have a good look at them lights from gsf, I had 5 sets of each lights turn up at gsf and each one of them was damaged in some sort of way. I wish people would pack the lights right when they return them to gsf and the people at gsf stop throwing them about like rubbish. my local gsf have gone down hill in a big way. chrisj21 2 Posted January 4, 2010 I bought all new lights from GSF for my 205, they were all valeo items and all in good order so a thumbs up on that point. As said though always check whats in the box before you leave.
pablo 0 Posted January 4, 2010 awesome, Ill pick up a set tomorrow
Rob Thomson 6 Posted January 4, 2010 The headlamps I bought from GSF were pukka Valeo and in perfect condition. The indicators I bought from GSF are s*it, and needed modifying with the trusty Stanley knife to make them fit. Essentially the headlamp won't sit up against the indicator neatly (or at all) unless you cut away some plastic. Even then they don't fit properly.
Para 82 2 Cars Posted January 4, 2010 You can get original Valeo indicators from GSF.
pablo 0 Posted January 4, 2010 ECP indicators any better? Or any source? I can get them seperately if needs be.
Para 82 2 Cars Posted January 4, 2010 I would stick to Valeo as I found them the "whitest" and the most orange !! then the other not original ones
pablo 0 Posted January 4, 2010 are valeo indicators handy to get? in amber.
davey sprocket 14 Posted January 4, 2010 The amber indicator I got from GSF was made by OWL..... ....and pretty crap actually. The bulb holder was unusable and the fit of the actual indicator was poor. Cheap though at £6 and now its all in it doesn't look too bad actually.
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted January 4, 2010 I wouldn't use any GSF/ECP indicator, Most are made by Depo and the fit is well s**t, I sent around 6 pairs back and gave up as they would all fail the MOT (In the UK) as they don;t secure the headlight at all as the spring doesn;t even fit I ended up with some Lucas boxed one's which are just about OK
EdCherry 34 1 Cars Posted January 4, 2010 My GSF Owl branded indicators are good I find, nice and bright and not a bad fit (amber). Went to ECP for the Valeo headlight's as I found them cheaper and they are always in stock at my closest.

mr_exe 1 Posted January 4, 2010 I got my Valeo headlights from Andrew Pages for £17.75 each. I also bought my indicators form them as well, but took them back as the fitted badly and looked awful. They offered me some Lucas ones which would have been dearer than the genuine Peugeot ones which were £10.86 each. From memory Lucas ones dont fit that well either. They've been in store for 10 years and I haven't looked at them recently but very much doubt if they are mint by any stretch of the imagination.
