what would everyone recomend for best tyres for night events im running on standard 1.9 wheels any help much appreciated thanks

Do a search mate there is litteraly hundereds of pages discussing pros and cons of different tyres

available for diferent uses.. :)

Change to 14" and run A021R's or part worn A035's (or similar) if the events are roughish.

Change to 14s and use A021Rs wouldnt bother with A035s myself, iv used alsorts of tyres on my 205, all the lads i know around here who do night events in front wheel drives will only use 21Rs and thay go anywhere and do win and are always in the top 10 unless thay have a problem.

Kumho r800s work quite well in the lanes at this time of year or is it r700s? :blush:

Depends which 14" wheels you go for.

 

If you are talking the 1.6GTi wheels, I believe the Speedline ones are fine, SMR are not. But I use Saxo VTR or 106 XSi (series1) 14" alloy wheels and these are fine.
