Toad Powerkey Immobiliser - Help!

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how to program up extra key fobs for the Toad powerkey Immobiliser?

When I bought the car it had two key fobs, that both worked... but the spare fob has stopped working, i'm guessing its because it hasnt been used for a couple of years. Before I go buy a new fob, I was hoping to try and re-link the spare fob to the Immobiliser, but I have no idea how and cant find info on the net.

Thanks,

I haven't got the instruction manual for mine to hand,, but from memory, you flick the ignition on-off-on-off-on within a few seconds with your working transponder tag in range of the pickup, and the immobiliser light will start rapidly flashing. This is the programming mode, and I believe that you just place the other transponder tags within range of the pickup whilst the light is rapidly flashing to add them to the system.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll dig out the instructions for you :)

And if it is any good to you, I am sure I have a few tags, and a Toad remote central locking set up for the power key. I am sure I have the instructions and all of the other gubbins for it too.

Hi,this is written straight from my instruction book

1. Remove the transponder from the ignition key ring

2. Disarm the system using an existing transponder tag

3. Switch the ignition on and off twice and then turn the key back on,all within 7 seconds. The LED will flash rapidly to indicate the system is now in programmed mode

4. Pass a new transponder close to the ignition barrel

5. The LED will flash once to indicate that the new transponder tag is in the memory

6. Pass any additional transponder tags close to the ignition barrel

7. For each transponder tag programmed into the system the LED will flash a number of times to indicate how many transponder tags are programmed into the system

8. When you have finished, switch the ignition off and the powerkey will exit the programme mode

9. Each time you programme a new transponder tag into the system it will automatically erase all other transponder tags in the memory, so all the transponder tags required to operate the system must be programmed back in.
