Engine Number? Where Does It Start!

Im needing to change the engine number on my logbook but im unsure of where it starts? Ive got 'K2A PTC 10F S3U 095****' what part to the dvla want?

Compare the format to your existing engine number on the V5 - The new one will have a similar layout.

can someone check on theirs? im changing from an XU to a TU

My old 1.6 engine was: 1CT4S00xxxx

My mi16 is: 1CW6301xxxx

 

There's no set format for engine numbers, so it can be pretty much anything. As long as you give the DVLA some number from the engine they don't really care what it is exactly.
