Mi16 Throttle Position Sensor

Recommended Posts

davepug205

Hi guys,

My Mi16 throttle body has a bar coming out the butterfly at the bottom which I presume needs a position sensor on.

My question is are these the same on any other model, and does it need anything else or just the sensor.

This may become a wanted post :)

Cheers

Dave

1.9 or 2.0?

quick look on servicebox shows;

for the 1.9 the part number is 1628 G4, seems to be used on most 8 valve alloy block multi point injection XU engines.

this is a switch not a sensor though.

2.0 used;

1628 L1 POTENTIOMETER - INJECTION XU10J4 UNTIL DATE 19950601

1628 1E - INJECTION XU10J4 SINCE DATE 19950601

not a clue what the difference is though!

L1 is used on the XU9J2, some TU3 and TU5 variants, and the XU10J2TE.

1E is used on XU7JP4 and later 10J2TE, 10J4R's, Tu5's.
