Does anyone know if all the 306gti6/rallye ecu's were all the same model no. throughout all years of manufacture or did they change at some point. Thanks in advance. Will aid in buying an unlocked ecu.

they were all under the same part number, early models worked with a keypad, later models with a transponder immobiliser.

 

also earlier ecu's had a 7450 Rev limit later 7250, this doesn't make much difference at all seeing as peak power is made back down at about 6500.

 

similar story with the Xsara vts, though not sure if the rev limits changed on them, be wary of very late Xsara VTS's that had a multiplex wiring system, these will not be compatible with a 205.
