Hi lads im thinking of buying a set of highspec 4 pot calipers, discs and pads. They are coming off a 106gti and firstly will they fit without issues onto my 205 gti.

Secondly what are peoples opinions on this kit?

Piston size is 36.8mm and disc size is 285mmx22mm.

Also opinions on these fitting under standard 15'' 205 rims?

which calipers are they? I know some don't have dust/crap seals to cope with road use.

By fitting more effective front brakes (ie. ones that produce the same stopping power with less push on the pedal) you move the brake bias towards the front. A bias valve would allow you to correct that to some degree. Definitely worth fitting one in my opinion.

Master cylinder choice is down to you; do you prefer a soft pedal with lots of travel or stiffer pedal with less travel? Most would recommend the latter, and that can that be acheived by fitting the master cylinder from a 406.
