Gti6 Clutch?

I need a clutch for my GTI6 conversion. Im using the original 5 speed box from my H-reg 1.9 GTI (BE3 box, is that right? Reverse is under 5th). I've done a bit of searching on here and i think the clutch i need is from a 1.9 Mi16 engine'd 405? 205mm push type clutch? Will this bolt straght up to the GTI6 flywheel and the 5 speed box? If so, does anyone know a good supplier and even better, the correct part number? I just KNOW the parts monkeys at my local motorfactors are going to be LOADS of help tomorrow

As parts places/dealers nearly always ask for a reg/chassis number, if i gave the details from this car, would i get the correct clutch?

nope, you need to ask for a clutch for a 16 valve BX, that's the simplest way of getting the correct one, its a 215mm diameter plate with a push type release bearing.

spot on though I'd go for something like Valeo or Luk personally.

Again as said, the LUK or Valeo ones are around the same price and worth it, The other's are just not quite the same
