Gti-6 Exhaust Manifold Fitting

hello all, fitted the gti-6 engine in my car but took the exhaust manifold off first.

 

I have now cut it and re-angled it but want to test fit it before welding it up.

 

There is no chace of getting it in from the top but im wondering before i rip the engine back out can it be fitted from underneath???

yes if you drop the subframe

its ALOT easier to just hoist the engine up a little and refit it! its a pain otherwise
