What Decent Pads For Lucas-girling S16 Type Calipers

I have tried looking for 1144's in MDB1869 shape and can't find any, which is odd seeing as the 306 S16, 90% of 405's, and the ZX 16v used them.

 

So what is there as an alternative that don't cost too much? the price of the 1144's for a 1.9 205 caliper seems reasonable, seem to cost significantly more for the gti6 caliper.

 

They are quite small pads, a 54mm piston 94.7 x 48.8 x 19.4mm thick, compared to the 1.9 205's 48mm piston and 99.9 x 64.8 x 18.7mm pads

 

the gti6 has a 57mm piston a 129.8 x 56.5 x 19.3mm pad

 

 

I would like to stick to this brake setup as they're a fair bit lighter than a gti6 caliper and disc set, though I do have a set of discs and o.e citroen pads and a pair of calipers but missing a yoke/carrier.

thanks, by the looks of it Mintex just dont do anything uprated for that pattern, what is odd is that there's a pad listed for the 405 under a different number, but the pattern is the same one as far as I can tell, hadnt thought of looking what the number was for that car/caliper

 

I've figured what I believe is the Ferodo part number for my pattern, FCP406, £114 for DS2500

 

 

 

I'm off for another search using the 405 pad pattern number!

might have got the size of the pads wrong comparing the 405 and 306, confused now! will have a look at a brake pad book for the actual sizes later

Mintex do 1144 & 1155's for the S16/405 Calliper, Can;t recall the number thou now but it's not always under what you think, The 406 Brembo's are listed under the Focus RS for example

MDB 1376 Width 94,7 mm Height 48,8 mm Thickness 19,4

 

 

second one looks more likely
